Are You Backing Up Your Wordpress Website?

I've had two WordPress blogs hacked into previously. That was at a time when I was doing virtually no online advertising, and until I found time to deal with the situation (weeks later), these sites were penalized at the main search engines. They weren't eliminated, no matter how the ratings were reduced.

By default, the latest version of WordPress is pretty darn secure. The development team of WordPress has considered anything which may have been added to any secure your wordpress site plugins. Before, WordPress did have holes but most of them are filled up.

It all will start with the basics. Try to use complex passwords. Use spaces, numbers, special characters, and letters and combine them to create a special password. You can also use usernames that aren't obvious.

You should also place the"Anyone Can Register" in Settings/General to away, and you ought to have some sort of spam plugin. Akismet is the one I use, the old standby, click site but there are many of them nowadays.

Make a note of your password! I suggest the paid or free version of the software *Roboform* to remember your passwords.

Oh . And incidentally, I talked about plugins. Make sure it's a safe one when you get a plugin. Do not install any plugin because the owner is saying that plugin will help you do that or this. Maybe use perhaps, or a test blog to look at the plugin get a software engineer to analyze it. This way is not a threat for your organization or you.
